“Smile…no smile…” K is one of the few girls I have seen that can go from a natural smile to natural serious, pouty look without hesitation. She has one of the most perfect serious looks, I have seen! The problem was I would just keep snapping the “no smiles” and forget to tell her to smile! I didn’t get very far in the editing tonight, but here are some good ones that I have found so far…

Another beautiful fall weekend and another extremely photogenic girl for today’s session! To top it ALL off, I got to shoot at a fantastic location where her dad works! I was busy editing and realized how late it is getting to be, so I wanted to get a few sneak peeks up. I will try to add some of the lacrosse uniform shots tomorrow. Thanks for a great session, Nicole!

Had another fantastic session this afternoon in Old Town Manassas.  The wind was kind of pesky at times, but it didn’t stop us from doing A’s outdoor session.  I hit a few snags in my plans when I got home and could not get all of the pictures edited, so here are my first few favorites with a few more to come tomorrow.  Thanks ladies, for trooping around downtown with me and putting up with the “celebrity” status you were getting as cars drove by!

and here are some of Taylor!  I hope the next few weekends are this perfect because my whole month of October (and into November) is booked with outdoor sessions:)

Ah yes!  The beautiful weather, the perfect sunlight and the new fall colors helped me remember why I prefer natural light photography!  I met with Sara and Taylor this afternoon to finish up the outdoor part of their sessions.  We met in Old Town Manassas and armed with just camera and my Sunbounce reflector (the best reflector EVER!) I got some amazing shots of the girls!  Here are a few of Sara…
